Overview about Data Protection at Ring-Group
The protection of your personal information is very important to us. We treat your personal data confidentially and according to the legal data security regulations. In this privacy protection we explain how this exactly happens.

At A) General Information you find information about the responsible party for data processing, what you can do if you want to withdraw your consent for data already given to us, an overview about the services concerned and information of our data protection officer.

A) General information:
The following gives a short overview of what happens with your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any information you could be personally identified. Detailed information on the subject of data protection can be found in our privacy policy below.

We need and use personal data to meet pre-contractual, contractual, post-contractual and legal obligations. We process your personal data when you are interested in our services and products, you may purchase our services and products, when you ask for information about our services and products or your data are being transferred by a partner or third party and therefore the necessary data protection regulations are fulfilled.

Further performances are e. g. providing our website. When you visit our website especially technical data (e.g. Internet browser, operating system, time of page viewing) which are necessary to host the page are recorded.

Revocation of your consent to the processing of your data
If you want to revoke an already given consent you can do that at any time. Just send us an informal email at info@ring-group.de. The data processed before receiving your request, may still be legally processed.


Storage Time
If not otherwise mentioned your data will be deleted when the reason for collection is achieved and no other legal or contractual retention obligation is considered. Your personal data will not be deleted in case of exercising and defending legal rights.

B) Statutory information

What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing.
You also have the right to complain at the competent supervisory authority (Art. 15 DSGVO).
You can also withdraw an already given consent of processing at any time,  affecting the future (Art. 21 DSGVO).

You have the right to information if your data are processed. You are entitled to know the use, the category, the receiver, the time of storing, the source (if the data are not collected by yourself) and if necessary the existence of an automated decision-making.

The exchange of information happens depending on the situation verbally, if requested in writing or electronically, preferably with a copy of your data (Art. 15.3, DSGVO).

You have the right to correction if your transferred personal data are wrong or incomplete (Art. 16 DSGVO).

You have the right to deletion if the use of collection and processing is no longer required, you may have withdrawn your consent and if any further legal basis for processing is missing.

Furthermore if you have sent a request to review (Art. 21 DSGVO), if your personal data are unlawfully processed, or if the deletion is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation under European Law or under Law of the Member States to which the responsible is subject to and no reason related to Art. 17.3 DSGVO is relevant for further processing/storing (Art. 17 DSGVO).

You have the right to restricted processing if the correctness of your data is contested, and that for a period enabling us proofing the correctness of your data. Also if the processing is unlawful and you may reject the data deletion but asking for limited data use. Furthermore if we don’t need your data anymore for the use processed but you for exercising legal claims, or you may have revoked the processing providing it is not determined that our entitled reason are outweighing your own interest (Art. 18 DSGVO).

You have the right to portability/receiving of the data you transmitted to us, in a standard machine readable format and a direct transfer of your data to another responsible party without restrictions of us, provided the processing is based on your consent or related to a contract and the processing takes place automatically (Art. 20 DSGVO).

Server-Log Files
For the performance, the security and for optimization of our homepage it is necessary to collect different kind of data (Art.6.1.f, DSGVO). We only collect data to secure the functionality of our website and to ensure the correct display of the content. General information, which is temporally stored in our log files, is listed below:

• Amount of transmitted data

• IP-Address
• Refer URL (previous visited websites)
• Websites, you are browsing via our homepage
• Name and URL of the accessed file
On basis of this data we can provide personalized and site related data, analyze the traffic, search and rectify mistakes, and also improve our internet presence.


Cookies
Cookies are small text files which are placed on your browser to reconstruct your settings and changes when re-entering our website.
These functional cookies make sure, that our website is working properly. The cookies are stored for max. 2 years. After this period the cookies are automatically deleted. If activating the cookies, an identification number is assigned with no allocation to your personal data. Your name, your IP or similar data for identifying yourself are not stored within the cookie.
On basis of this cookie technology we only receive pseudo data, e.g. about the pages of our shops, you have visited, or which products you have viewed. These cookies allow following functions:

Analysis
The following mentioned and used tracking procedure is based and implemented according to Art. 6.1.f DSGVO. With the application of Analysis Services we receive and use information for using our website. This information (e. g. number of visitors, time of visits, visit sequence) is used for statistical matters and helpful in adapting and optimizing our website.

Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze the use of our website. Information generated by a cookie about your use of this website are usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Your IP address will be shortened by Google within the European Union, or other parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area, prior to transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases the full address is sent to a Google server and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with any data held by Google. The cookies stored by Google will be deleted latest after 14 months.

During your visit of our website maybe contents are displayed, which are linked to third party sites. We have no access to cookies or other functions which are used on third party sites. These third party sites are not subject to the here described private policy. Please inform yourself about data protection at these respective websites.


3. Contact form/contact possibilities at our website
If you use our contact form to send us a request, only data to your person are queried and recorded.
We only use this data for your requested purpose (e.g. answering your inquiries, callback/contacting).
Only this is our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f). Further personal data are not recorded, only if you give us your agreement or it is permitted by law.


4. Social Media Plug-ins
Our website uses Social Plugins of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for advertising needs according to Art. 6.1.f DSGVO. Here the respective provider itself has the responsibility for data protection. The integration of these plugins works with double click to protect our visitors on a high level.


Facebook: In order to personalize our website we are using Social Media Plugins of Facebook. Here we are using the “Like” and “Share” button. If you enter a site of our homepage, featuring such a plugin, your browser directly connects with Facebook servers.
The content of this plugin is directly transmitted to your browser by Facebook and also integrated into the website. Through this integration Facebook receive the information, that your browser has accessed the respective site of our homepage, even if you don’t have a Facebook account or you are not logged in at Facebook. This information and your IP address are directly transmitted by your browser to the Facebook servers in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in at Facebook your visit of our website can directly be assigned to your Facebook account. Furthermore if you interact with this plugins, e.g. you share or like something, this information is also transmitted to a Facebook server and stored there. This information is also open at Facebook and on display for your Facebook friends.

D) Processing of personal related data to fulfil contractual and legal obligations,
We process your personal data when you are interested in our services and products, you may purchase our services and products, when you ask for information about our services and products or your data are being transferred by a partner or third party and therefore the necessary data protection regulations are fulfilled. We need and use personal data to meet pre-contractual, contractual, post-contractual and legal obligations. The processing of the personal data takes place with the supply of our products and services. Here it is necessary to collect, to process and to use the personal data.

Within our company only the business units have access to your transmitted data, which are authorized to process and provided that this data is needed for the fulfilment of contractual and legal obligations.

We use this data to fulfil our obligations of an existing contract, business initiation and to meet obligations regarding warranty.

Contact / communication data, customer number, period, conditions, payment information (Credit card number, bank details) purchased products/services/service contracts, information about non-payments or credit investigations

We need this data to assign payments and to avoid payment default


d) a)      Use of websites and communication
Information how you use our website, about cookies and other tracking technologies

We need this data to keep our website functional and updated.


e) a)      Application data
Additionally to your contact data and a photograph we store information about your previous education/qualification, previous employer, age and income expectations.

We need this data to see how you fit our team. This data are returned or deleted after six month latest. We only keep your data stored, if we plan to fill a position at a later time.


In addition to the here mentioned data no further information regarding sales, development, production, shipment or after services are needed. There is no data processing apart from automated decision making and included profiling. Your data are not transmitted to third countries or countries outside the EU.


Are your data transferred to external receivers?

Basically without having your explicit consent, we don’t transfer your data to third parties. However it may be necessary within the Ring-Group it only happens within this contractual agreement or under legal obligation. No further transfer takes place unless you have expressly approved such a transfer.

In certain cases we may have a legitimate interest that external service providers have access to our data processing and as a consequence they can access your personal data. These access possibilities are necessary at maintenance/remote maintenance of our software and IT systems.

These enterprises are working for us as external processors and are using the personal data provided by us only according to our instructions. All external processors need to proof a sufficient system of technical and organizational procedures to protect your data according to Art. 32 DSGVO.
